A Shot of Love

A few years back when I had the restaurant,I was really into reality shows. I searched for a good name for a dessert that instantly had the toughest critic fall in love. I've used this recipe for a bridal shower,Birthday cakes and of course daily enjoyment. If strawberries are out of season I use oreos.Normally I  wouldn't participate in sharing recipes with everybody, but this is one everyone should try.........

1 pt fresh ,juicy,ripe strawberries
1/2 c sugar
cut up the berries throw the sugar on top and throw it in the fridge
it may take awhile for the berries to suck up all the sugar so I get
busy doing other stuff like whipping the cream for this you will need
1qt heavy whipping cream(chilled) and
2tbls confectioners sugar
Divide the whipped cream in two.Prep the cups. When I feel like
being lazy I use nilla wafers for the bottom-home made butter cookies taste best
Check on the berries they should be about half way. When they merge
and form syrup they're drunk! The wire attachment works best to whip the
1 pk of cream cheese softened
The whip works best because you want it to be fluffy.Slowly add the drunken
berries.Save the syrup for your garnish.Fold half the whipped cream into the
berry-cheese mix.How you want to slap it together is up to you.I make layers
The second half of the whipped cream gets user in this process -try and end up
with whipped cream piped on top some syrup and the crushed butter cookies.
Get a spoon and enjoy if they last for more than 30 min refrigerate.

Back to the basics

I  apologize ladies and gentlemen for not getting back to you in a timely fashion. I've just been on vacation for a while. The boys like to go to slippery rock for camp. Then i have the annual family picnic for football, next came the garnet and gray game, and the much loved school clothes shopping-I wonder who everyone wants to be this year! As I move forward on my journey thou school year 2011 I cant help but to take a stroll down memory lane. So here goes the infamous when i was a kid speech. When i was a kid I wore any kinda clothes my mom could afford. I didn't even get new clothes i had to wear hand me downs from my older sister who got them handed down from my oldest sister. Shoes didn't cost $125-  twenty-five maybe if your parents had a lot of money. We got one new outfit other than that we found jobs to get money. I didn't sit in the house all up in grown folks business,I found something to do or would end up washing walls.Talk back and get smacked! Today I ruin my kids lives on a daily basis I never knew how much fun my mom was really having. When I reminisce about the good ol' days all the teenage drama, broken hearts, vanishing friendships and all the other crap,I'm kinda glad to be on the other end of the stick. People often say" if I could turn back the hands of time"- I personally wouldn't.You see when my family tells me that I'm getting to be just like my mother I don't mind.Who wouldn't like being the bane of someones existence? Really I feel like the oatmeal that allows the rest of the family to be pop tarts!

What to do

Growing up we are faced with a lot of decisions. One in particular that will write our story for the future is what will I be when I grow up? Well you have eighteen years plus to decide. I know people that are in their thirties that still ask themselves that same question. First you have to grow up nobody can really say how long that process will take for each individual. While your involved in that process the smartest thing for you to do is build, start building at the youngest age possible. Find the one thing your greatest at and concentrate on building that one thing stronger and stronger. People often try to do many things at one time only making what you ultimately end up doing half ass.My daughter much to my chagrin loves art I tried to talk her into something else ,but she always ended back at the art thing finally I gave up and let her do art she exceeded to graphic art and commercial art and makes a profit already off of the work that she does. Sometimes life will throw you a curve ball or two.In my case it was four... When life throws curve balls at you you can't do any better than to try and hit a home run. Don't give up because life is not what you thought it would be keep on going because until that grave is dug you still have to live, and who doesn't want to live the fabulous life? If your a mommy or daddy be the best  you can be not only will the baby benefit from your efforts but you can be proud of yourself for being great! I always have the get good grades talk to the kids that goes unheard but getting into a good college and a good job afterwards start with good grades. In closing I would like to add just pray about it because even a bad situation with a little divine intervention will turn out better.

Having so many teens I often encounter their relationship sagas. Mostly the female in the relationship no matter how much she says that she trusts the male just happens to look in his phone and find a picture of another broad. For some reason she becomes upset and/or hurt. Being the coolest mom on the planet makes them all come tell me. What makes the male look at other females when he already has a good thing going? ls it an unknown disease that all guys catch when they reach a certain age? Are they just born dogs? I often have the girl ask 'what am I doing wrong'? The answers to these questions will probably remain a mystery...but of course I will give you my take on the situation.Everything in this world today points to sex mostly all songs, movies,TV shows,etc...If your happy in your relationship and you know that your doing  everything right to keep this guy happy leave it at that-no there's nothing wrong  with you or any of your actions except that you invaded his privacy. If in fact you do trust your man -then trust him. It's not like he is having sex with a picture on his phone and if you are having some insecurity issues looking through his phone is not going to make you feel more secure ,if anything you will feel worse. Life ain't long enough to upset yourself over some ho who probably sent that same picture of her in her draws to the whole football team just be happy that that's not you posted up in the locker room. Nine times out of ten a man will marry a woman who reminds him of his mother I don't know too many mothers who send guys pictures of themselves in draws. So keep being you that's why he was attracted to you in the first place, and don't worry about those Ho's their not worth the time or argument-unless the make-up sex is spectacular!

Topic of discussion

As the first topic of discussion I was torn as to what to write I didn't wanna make anything too deep or too comical so i decided to start with the baby mamma drama category so here it goes; How much time should the others (meaning baby daddy's girl or baby mamma's man) have with the child?   My thoughts on the situation are as follows first of all you have to look at age younger people with kids are more likely to be less mature possibly leading to a smack down or two,but I don't think the young baby's mom is wrong why put the baby through meeting all those new girls who aren't going to last anyway? Let the baby be comfortable at yo mamma's house where she is loved while you run the streets if and when the time comes for you to settle down then introduce the baby to her.At that time baby mamma will probably have found some sucker to take care of her  so she won't care as much. The same goes for the baby mom though you can't be bringing all kind of weirdos arround thinking he is the one it just may take a while so go on dates outside of the house until he gives up that ring or makes some kinda commitment, but make sure that bank is stacked cause even with child support kids are expensive! Let me know what yall think.....

Gimmie some Mo!

Hi! I am Mo I recently lost my job due to a difference of opinion.  . Like most independent american adults I own my home and pay bills. I am thirty-five going on fifty with four grown kids(yes i said grown-kids) and one grandkid. I always knew one of those little nuts would go and make me a grandmom all early but that's life! I'm hoping that my life will be interesting enough for people to visit me. Growing up a parent I have vast knowledge of many if not all things I can answer cooking, baking, cleaning, common household problems, car problems, teenage drama, baby mamma, child support, disability, work related issues and most anything else you can think of and guess what my advice is all free and I love to talk! So get at me please I have nothing else to do with my time and hopefully in a few days you'll be saying Gimmie some Mo!
